今天刚刚考完第一张考试纸, 就让我来这里消遣消遣时间吧, 过一下就应该回去读书了.

最近, 有人告诉我说我做人真的很小气, 提醒了我做人真的要大气, 大方点. 真的想起来, 作的大方点, 男人才能成就大事, 才能容忍, 才能出人头地.

所以, 别觉得我无事不登三宝殿, 我也只想慢慢培养好习惯罢了. 并没有什么企图.

渐渐也觉得自己年纪不再小了, 不该在像小孩子一样. 者的要为自己的未来打算, 前进, 迈步.

许多人都很害怕面对未来. 其实不是未来让人恐惧, 而是未知数中让人的忐忑.

近来也开始讨厌寂寞, 讨厌深夜里房间空旷的回音, 脑海反反复复的动个不停. 有人曾经告诉我, 他可以习惯寂寞, 当初我真的不能领悟怎么有人能习惯寂寞, 但我想, 不是习惯, 只是麻木了.

但是没人陪也不是第一次呀, 老早就知道这点了. (朋友, 放心吧, 我知道你有你的伴侣需要陪伴, 如果你忽略了他, 我会更恨自己的)

说到这点, 才记得我也跟你说过我懊恼, stress的时候会去买买东西消除烦恼. 放心, 感觉我也过了这个时段. 可是真的是花了很多钱.

有时我也希望能有个人陪伴, 或许时间不对, 或许人不对, 或你还没感觉到, 但有时我真的希望你能让我快点出现, 因为我等的很累. 不想最后只因为想找人陪伴而滥竽充数.

多9天就要回家了. 如果我能告诉你我有多期待, 多渴望那天的来临, 那么我在说谎, 因为连我自己也无法预测到第自己有多么想回家. 徘徊在两国的同时, 我真的很久没有家的感觉了, 更久都没有回家了.

今天, 我在想, 不属于我的一切, 我需要感到惋惜吗? 不拥有, 又怎能失去?

但我想, 我真的很用心, 很放心思, 很耐心, 却换不回你的注意, 换不回你的珍惜.

到最后发现, 如果我不是心甘情愿的付出, 那么这一切都只是空的.

难得今晚会在这里打部落格. 其实是上个礼拜下来都很想写了, 只是说都很忙, 加上补充睡眠.

但今晚没什么睡意, 所以来打打部落格, 希望等下睡得下吧.

还记得拜四那天把assignment做完了, 所以心情特别的好, 就一个人下了city去用餐. 想着想着, 最近都因为出去吃的关系而花了不少的钱, 所以还是找便宜的东西吃吧.

走着走着就到了chilliz, 一间曾经以学生为主的鸡饭店, 以挂了名的廉价让学生们也能吃的饱.

就排好队, 买了一成不变的饭盒, 找到了个地方用食.

开起来后, 看着热喷喷的饭, 搭着的鸡肉块, 真的有点吃不下饭.

这样的感觉, 真的很熟悉, 熟悉到两年前, 当初刚刚到了澳洲读书时, 抱着的那种冲动, 那种试探的感觉. 一直是乘三的想法, 凡事都尽量省到不能再省。

就是这件店, 陪伴了我. 每一次大家选择去吃, 我就肯定到这间店报到, 因为真的很不错, 且便宜. 当时的想法简单的很, 也都没有考虑那么多.

现在呢? 感觉真的变了一个人, 会努力的想去找好吃的东西吃, 再也没有乘三的想法, 东西都要好的.

反省着自己这两年下来真的变了很多吗?

只能说每一天都在学着, 怎样面对每一件不一样的事情, 不一样的人. 更好, 更坏. 应该说是更好. 日子久了, 也更清楚什么重要, 谁重要.

这个礼拜应该会回去感觉下回忆. 真的也该睡了, 晚安了大家!

也不知道自己要写什么就上来, 真的很不是我的想法, 但来了就索性多写点东西吧.

最近真的没什么跟家人好好聊天, 自己感觉有点距离, 很不是滋味.

虽然工作时间很长, 遇到的人有时凶凶, 有时又好好的。但是一直很感谢有这份工作, 能赚点钱帮帮父母.

上个'post'本来想说“真的很感谢", 才记得以前有人说过 "我们又没有不相信你!”

这个礼拜最清楚的一件事 - 美好的回忆, 似乎都是不能回去的回忆, 所以活好今天, 创造多点值得记起的事.

Bla bla, 这两个礼拜有mid-sem和assignment酱, 没办法咯!

就这样吧, 真的得睡了 xD 晚安了大家!

Oliver : *telling myself* Yes yes yes yes, i'm gonna wrap this final pack of bun and go out to place these buns out!

*placing buns = super awesome break from constantly wrapping bread*

*Boss comes in*

Boss : Hey there Ollie, let me help you go put these buns out.

Ollie : T.T Okay....

- Scene 2 -
This is shopping to a new level!

Employee A : Here Ollie, this is how you mark down stuffs, well, basically stuffs that are going to go soon....

*Ollie nods*

*Ollie looks around still trying to grasp the concept of marking down*

*Customer A approaches*

Customer A : Hi there, hi hi hi hi! I was wondering if you're going to mark this down? You see, this stuff is going to expire is 2 days, since you're not opening on sunday and monday, it'll be expired by then, so you're definitely gonna mark it down right? Better than all those expired cakes that you had to throw away right, right right?

Ollie : *speechless* ... I'm gonna go ask my boss first.

[ 20 minutes after Customer A gets her mark down]

*Customer A runs back*

Customer A : HAVE YOU SEEN MY MARKDOWN ITEM? *Roar* Someone just reached into my trolley and HELPED themselves with some stuff that i got! *ROAR* I'm gonna go to the counter to wait for him/her to show up with my stuff, and give them a piece of my mind!

Ollie : *speechless* *nods*
Boss : Yeah, they really shouldn't do that...

And yes, those are stuffs that are happening around work :P Time flies when you're working, but being able to think about stuffs that i don't usually do, while automatically wrapping bread, feels kinda good.

P.S. - It's possible to sit in hungry jacks and get free wifi from Maccas right beside!

I woke up at 6.30am seeing this to start my day with!

and later on this (:

Bath bath, and then had to start changing for class

After much choosing, i decided to wear my purple shirt,

and my casual, faithful blue jeans,

and a black jacket right before winter fully ends.

finally my pair of white shoes and we're almost all ready!

Last but not least, with my trusty backpack we departed to start the day off :D

Bus, train and bus with Transperth!!

it started off like this as i started to wait for the bus

then i waited for bubble buddy for too long,

But i met Liz, Jason, Yii kuok in the process of waiting,

and finally when bubble buddy came!

We reached University of Western Australia, *ahem* *the grandpa uni in WA*

on the class, the scenery was beautiful,

there was life all around uni,

made me wish i could get my wedding in UWA,

*just a nice photo i had to put somewhere in my blog*

I reached class for lecture,

in lectures we learn about stuff like,

but i was bored, so it was playing with phone camera time!

Oh well, lecture ended anyway (:

Then when thinking about what to eat, i could've had this at uni,

but i felt like this :P

thus taka was what i had for lunch.

I went for a haircut

and reached home safely (:

and i lived happily ever after!!

Today's a seemingly great day =P Though it rained a bit, the sun still shined nicely right after, and everything looked a lot fresher.

The last two lines took like an hour to type cause i was stuck playing with my digital cam, and found out that there are quite a lot of functions that i can use. Might sound a bit lol, but yes, it's like updating myself with technology :P

Retreat this friday :D:D:D It's gonna be heaps of fun having 20+ people all go camp somewhere in Mandurah =P

Pardon guys for not updating for such a long while. Things have been dull with so much work in uni and stuff happening in life, but oh well, most importantly is that i'm back here again (:

Gonna skip through all those stuffs that i missed blogging for the past 2 months, well, mainly just the SIFE competition in Sydney, other than that my life has been quite boring (not blogging-worthy atleast)

Recently,

I have been a bit hooked up to Mousehunt (don't google it unless you're ready)

I feels more like a commerce student this semester with 4 commerce units and 1 law unit

I'm not ready for my 5 finals at the end of the year

I realized that Korean RnB is quite good actually

I went to MSU wonka ball and had a fun night

I am heading back Malaysia in 1 month and 1 week's time

I play with Jonathan's ipod touch a lot since he got it

I love going to the swings with my ipod on breezy evenings

I lost the "n" button on my laptop

I broke my Canning College Transperth card

I meet Demetria, Wen, Alvin, Edward and Jonathan a lot in uni these days

I once thought why didn't i study engineering in the first place

I am enjoying disciple more and more

I hope that 3 can provide free facebook forever

I feel like being home right now

Well, if you haven't noticed, i haven't been blogging around much during the holis *dashes around to avoid stuff thrown at me*, but here i'm back, and this proves that my holis are super holis! :D

Okie, today's the first day of uni, and i got to meet everyone back in Uni! :) Might sound a bit weird that uni's appealing for somehow, but indeed the feeling of still being able to study another semester at UWA lightens the spirit up, well, for now that its xD

I'm going to try and update the major thingos that happened in my holis, besides sleep, eat and heaps of dramas that is =P

1) Mommy came to visit!!!

- Can't believe that mommy came to visit me throughout the holis, typing this out still makes me homesick much ><

2) Trip to Sydney with SIFE UWA!

- Way awesome xD and we smell of "SIFE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS" :P, quoted from Jackie =P

Okie, so here goes mommy's trip to Perth!

*Arranging pictures around blogspot is a pain @@*

- So here's mommy and Aunty Shierly, just arriving off Perth International Airport. Just an advice, your first sights you see once you're out of PIA doesn't reflect Perth in most ways, it made Perth look like an outback place full of cowboys and farmers, not that it isn't a good thing itself =P

- After that, Aaron kor picked us up and we were going to stay at his place for the ten days that mom was here in Perth. The house was SUPERB! Way better than any hotel that we were eyeing on. This picture was the first meal we had together in Perth, cooked by non other than *drum..... rolllll........* Aaron kor! Can't be thankful enough to him for all the time spent with us in Perth!

- We went to visit UWA the next day! *of course* and showed mommy around uni, and we both thought that UWA felt like a zoo, with the parrots, peacocks, ducks and birds around, but isn't that the reason we went there? xD

- This photo was my must take! *Don't mind the messy hair, and weird smile*, but it's something that we both take pride in =]

- This isn't a great picture, but if you can tell from it, it's the business school in UWA, nicely designed and engineered building, but a tiny bit too far (very far if you have to run there in 15 minutes). Mom agrees too after she had to walk all the way down to the business school and back.

- After UWA, we went to my home in Perth, but first, Pastor's house! Mommy was delighted that all the international students have such a great dad and mom to take care and look out for us here in Perth!

- Here's mommy with Uncle Peter and Aunty Christina! Mom's so happy that i got into homestay this year, having a family around me at all time.

- Below will be the little highlights of our run around Perth, in no specific order.

- This is us around Perth City! The multiple number of pictures that we have is due to the repetitive number of visits around city =P There can never be and ending when it comes to shopping :P

*Looking beyond the horizon (for the squinting)*
- Mom still remembers Cottesloe beach from her first visit last year, so we had to visit it once again. The same beautiful beach, but the only slight difference was that winter kicked in, so practically no one was at the beach. Nonetheless, it didn't fail to dazzle us still!

- I'm really lazy to post a lot of pictures, so you'll have to be observant xD If you can notice the white bars at the background, you'll be able to recognize that it's the ferris wheel that we have in Perth! :D It has been quite long since i went on one, but it's a great way to see Perth!

- Here's us on the boat to Freo from the bell tower. Was suppose to head to rottnest, but the gushing waves cancelled our plans. It was a nice trip, being able to see the coastline from Perth all the way to Freo.

- Here's us at Freo! Notice the weird facial expressions due the winds blowing at 123912051023 kmph, something new for mom and Aunty Shierly to experience :P

- How could you miss Cicerellos when you're at freo? Personally recommendable that you try out the burger there, it's a whole new level compared to any fast food burger that you can find!

- This is the visit to the vineyard in swan valley (i think), and we had an amazing time there, overviewing a scenery of seemingly endless grape trees, while sipping wine. A place that is so refreshing and soothing to be in.

- This is the place where dreams come true for little kids :D The chocolate factory somewhere near the vineyard. Definitely a visit to relive your childhood fantasy with all the kinds of chocolate they have there. If you feel like viewing more pictures for the last two places, do visit my first blog post or so, pics should be there =P

- King's Park! Though we didn't see a king there xD Again, a great place to escape from the city to give yourself a break, splendid views and a great place for romantic dates! :P

- Here we are at Hillarys Boat Harbour, a place that even i haven't visit until mom came. A nice hangout place around the seaside for people during the weekends.

- In backward sequences, we had lunch together after church before going to AQWA, and again a first! :P I've heard of it a few times, but this was the first time i actually went and visited the place. Wonderful place to see exotic aquatic animals and beautiful corals that can be found around Australia!

Well, this summarizes mommy's trip to Perth, and i'm really looking forward to heading back home at the end of the year to meet daddy and bi!

Crim law lecture ended early

Oh well, today's a first to finish Criminal Law lectures early, coupled with another free hour before my next business statistic class, and tadaa :D, here i am writing a blog post.

Hmm, most of the time when i'm inside this little box writing something, i would come with the intent of knowing what i'm suppose to write, but nah, i'll just go with the flow today.

Was suppose to rain today, but apparently it still seems all sunny. Hope that it'll stay that way for the day, going back home in a soaky raining weather just doesn't quite wrap up the day nicely.

I think we still have like 10 days of semester 1, 2009 to go. Suprisingly, uni feels fast and slow. Didn't actually realise that i've swiftly been through 12 weeks in uni. Yet, looking back, i thought i've been in uni for like my life. Contradicting isn't it ><

Manuevering between the gloomy days and the sunny sunshine days, apparently the count is favouring the gloomy days, oh well, might just be the weather.

I'm going to get my 2 assignments back next monday :( Not that i don't want to get them back and improve, but i can't bare to peek at the marks >< >< ><

I hope that the swine flu incident in Aussieland + Malaysia can cool down soon, and some remedy can be found for those that have been infected, and a vaccine for it.

Winter's coming in a week or so, a season where everyone looks big and bulky, where hot chocolate is the favourite drink of everyone, where home extends the warm feeling, and where warm hugs are needed in such a cold and lonely weather.

But i have You, daddy, mommy and biiiiiiiiiii, so i'll survive *chuckles lightly*

And one last thing, i think i should be doing some work now, but apparently, i think i've either done them, or have yet to realise them, blah!

对事不对人, 其实很久以前有听过, 但是却从来都没有真正的体验过... 前几天上完课回家时. 我刚刚下了火车, 也由于蛮夜了, 所以在等巴士的人很多. 感觉上大家都在随便站, 我也顺其自然的站到巴士站的前头, 希望可以快快上巴士回家吃饭.

不久巴士来了之后, 当我慢慢的要步入巴士时, 有位年老的老太太拍了我的肩膀, 指着后头的二三十人, 告诉我说其实大家都在排队.

感觉上太巧了 = =

在于礼貌的份上, 我不得不往大家的后头走, 真的很气, 因为差一步就可以上巴士回家了, 现在又要到大家的后面排队, 又这样多人等巴士, 上不到巴士就惨了 ><

一气之下, 就很想索性走路回家, 又不用看人的脸色和生人家的气.

这时, 就突然停了下来, 想到说为什么自己要为了这样的事情生气呢? 是因为被老太太停下来上不到巴士生气, 还是因为自己下soi生气呢...

觉得自己还是很幼稚, 如果因为这样发脾气走回家, 又要满点才有饭吃. 明明有巴士搭却选择走路. 所以最后, 还是到了大家的后头去排队. 不多不少, 我也是最后几个上到巴士的人...

一路想着, 其实老太太没错, 她也不过是就事论事, 撇开解决问题后, 我们就没有什么瓜葛了. 也不错, 学了个人生的好道理和经验.

刚刚读了小朱的部落格, 很高兴她终于要上大学了! 能进到自己梦寐以求的大学得确是父母最大的安慰, 自己奋斗最佳的鼓励, 上帝最好的奖励. 突然想起, 我已经在大学了 ><

我天天旷课到忘了自己在大学, 而是不知不觉中已经要度过sem 1了, 时间真的很快, 才刚刚开始弄懂老师们说的是什么就要开始大考了.

想起自己刚来是的心情, 忐忑的期待着自己要进的大学, course选择时的犹豫, 担心着成绩, 左算右算自己的未来要怎么跑. 真的不是很好过.

就这里补点吧, 昨晚可能有点太high点点, 少了细节的部分.

受难节, 不论大家如何对待今天, 我始终都觉得很沉, 毕竟想到上帝既然能够为了我们卑微不值得人, 鼓起了最大的勇气, 用了最谦卑的态度, 走上完全交托的旅程, 上了那个十字架.

怎么又人能够有权威胜过这一切的痛苦, 却仍然愿意这样行呢?

的确, 就只有祂.

其实昨晚在领圣餐时, 心情没有很好的准备要来吃, 但是吃了后, 嚼着时停顿了很久, 发觉自己慢了很多, 顿时那小块的饼就那么难吞. 2000年前, 当主吃着时, 祂已经在做准备, 准备做最完美的牺牲, 吞了最后晚餐, 就代表要开始那段的旅程了... 我又怎能吞的下呢?

今早在崇拜里一直都在思念主的死,

今晚特地的来打部落格!

不要问为什么, 感觉并不需要什么理由. 如果是说今晚很开心, 其实也并怎么... 想到今晚就是上帝在钉十架前的最后一晚, 想到都很心寒...

其实回来perth这么久都还没好好的坐下来打个正经的华文部落格. 我想念华文! T.T

感觉上自己好像慢慢的被洗脑成angmo了, 现在加上自己在家里都必须用英文沟通, 华文-1, 在学校就更加不需要说了, 铁定是必须说英文咯 >< 打部落格的过程中都要慢慢打, 慢慢写, 确定自己没有错别字(小学练习), 同音什么什么字... 嗨呀, 都还给老师了啦...

说到今天的重点, 就是今晚是受难前夕, 逾越节, 最后晚餐的崇拜. 自己生平前几次的诗班表演. 感觉不错, 可以亲身体验到“养军十年, 用军一时”. 也再次体验到上帝在上十架前的一晚, 有挣扎, 有交托, 有原谅, 有死亡.

听到牧师所说的道, 听听华文诗班唱的歌, 念念华文经节, 令自己想起怀恩堂, 毕竟都一起18年了. 被钩起的回忆, 感觉显得特别珍贵, 有点遥远. 想念华文!

以前每个礼拜五晚上都吵着爸妈想要去敬拜团, 可以看到大家疲惫的身子, 却抱着一颗渴慕上帝的心. 如果有分享就肯定少不了真情的泪水. 一起唱歌, 跳舞, 学习, 吵吵闹闹, 彼此勉励, 团在一起. 礼拜六下午就一定一定是少团. 不管有任何的节目都得让它三分!

大家, 也是玩玩闹闹中混熟的, 在服事中彼此明白, 加油. 四年, 真的太快了. 虽然有很多的风风雨雨, 惊涛大浪, 大家也都同心的撑了过来. 大家都还好吗? 可惜时间从不倒流 ... >< ><

It's monday, quite blue, not not as blue as the week i'm going to have ahead xD

Okay, today's kinda weird, first thing that i remember in school is stretching in class, and when i was pulling my hands back, i hitted a China girl (think so) 's file, and she was like shocked! Prolly awoken her from her dreams, or the fact that she never saw that coming. Yes, i hid directly after that and pretended that nothing happend ><>"<

Legal Process was okay, we got Justice Owen coming to talk to us about legal ethics, the profession and etc. It was quite nice to have a change in lecturer for once. But that wasn't the highlight of our class, this is :

If you're wondering why was the paper was needed, Bren caught the cold sores. It's the first time i've heard of it, and she's the first person i know to have them. It isn't as bad as the pictures you'll find on google, yet, according to Bren.

Ah yes, another day in uni! T-minus 6 days until study break. Well, atleast we get to sleep in late xD As for Curtin people, hope that you're enjoying your holis. As for Murdoch, hang in there!

yeah, i'm not in all the mood now, slacking around here while writing this blog post seems to be the only thing that might be able to get some rant off me and more work inwards.

Blah, Financial Accouting

Okie, Financial Accouting isn't actually the easiest thing that i've like faced, or even something i've barely faced before. To tell the truth, i'm like zero on any economics studies.

I don't really like accounting, mainly cause it's hard and i really feel like dropping it and just skipping the idea of studying it. But i just realised, that my mind wasn't really accepting accounting as something i should study.

The main point of studying accounting in the first place was the ease to gain a PR here, so it didn't flash twice in my brain to get degree to go with law. Law is fine, cause the more i study, the more i actually gain from it and learn from it, and it's something really interesting to study in.

As for financial accounting, i just treat it as a tool rather than a subject that i should actually show interest or likeness into, that's probably why i'm realy suffering now while doing it.

Change of mind Ver, it's the path you chose and strived for. So take it in, and give it another go, you might just be successful in it. Till then.

7. You fear for your life while walking in the rec center carpark
8. You find a new scratch on your car every day
9. You complain about crappy Guild coffee but buy it anyway cos it's cheap
10. Broadway isn't a show, it's a pizza place
11. You ask your self on a regular basis "What the hell are the sculptures supposed to be"
12. You danced in the fungus filled fountain at a law courtyard show when you were too out of it to know any better
13. You witnessed someone spewing (or spewed yourself) on oak lawn during mexicana
14. You have your own corner in the Reid library
15. You spend an average of twenty minutes per day queuing for a computer at Reid
16. When someone has a laptop, there's an 80% chance that they're either a law student (who bought it) or an eng student (who only did the course cos they got a free laptop)

18. You know someone (or are someone) who's gotten sick from eating a Guild kebab
19. You've gotten stuck with a tute at old Archeology and were late to class as a result
20. You've witnessed many a hilarious interruptions to lectures

55. The biggest decision of the day is whether to have lunch at the guild village cafe, or the reid library cafe

57. You've lost a shoe in, slipped in or cursed the muddy patches of the Oak Lawn
58. You know to set aside a full day if you need to do anything at student admin. And you know to bring a tent if it's the last day to withdraw.
59. Various companies bribe you on campus with free stuff and you wish they'd come more often
60. The girls wish they would put paper towels to dry your hands in every toilet
61. You've spent many hours contemplating the mystery that is the difference in quality between tav food and ref food.
62. You know exactly how long it takes between the ref's fire alarm going off (again) and the fire brigade telling everyone it's a false alarm, for the fourth time that week.
63. You know all of the Tav staff by name, and by now you also probably know their most intimate secrets.
64. Approximately 33.456 seconds after your parking ticket has expired, you return to your vehicle to find a hefty fine courtesy of the nazis at Subiaco Council.
65. You learn to hate part-time students, with their irritating ability to complete and make notes on every reading while you're lucky to coast by on one.
66. Investing in a pirate costume in first year is the smartest buy of your life.
67. The graffiti in the bathrooms is more engaging and socially-stimulating than many of the social sciences tutorials.
68. You are prepared to walk from the Arts building to Broadway just to get a decent meal even though the ref and the reid cafe are closer.
69. Your lunch has been stolen by a Reid duck.
70. You see a huge herd of students (numbering 150-200) all moving in one direction, and you know that a year of the medical school is on the move/has just broken for lunch.
71. You can tell who the freshers are by how they dress.
72. Anyone you know in the medical school mysteriously disappears after their second year.
73. You still don't understand what the naked man statue is doing in the Physics building.
74. You've been yelled at by Cricketers in summer for walking across the James oval to get to your next class.
75. You've decided that the majority of your uni fees are going to keeping said oval, as there are never less than 3 maintenance guys on there at any given moment.
76. You can tell a funny story about someone jumping the moat around reid library
77. The vice chancellor has materialised only twice during your uni life: on orientation day, and on your graduation day.
78. You survive uni on $5 Dominos pizzas
79. You make friends with the night shift at the petrol station on the corner of Broadway and Stirling Hwy, and they ask you how is your assignment/project/thesis when you visit them for 2am coffee.
80. You learn that their coffee machine will dispense a 10ml shot of coffee, and then fill the rest of the cup with water, so you make a super sized macchiato by filling your cup with only numerous shots of coffee, and at least 5 serves of sugar.
81. Daily you wish that there was a Dome, Chinos or similar on campus that served good coffee.
82. If you're doing a double degree, you graduate from one and then spend the rest of your days eating & drinking at University Club.
83. First year consisted of 8am maths classes, and you had to take the bus.
84. You've mistakenly ended up at the website for the University of West Alabama instead and not realised it. Or worse, the Uganda Wildlife Authority...
85. You have to sit on the floor in a lecture because there aren't enough seats - and then the lecturer kicks you out because of "fire safety regulations"
86. You drive cautiously along Mts Bay Rd waiting for that speed camera, and speed up again when it's not there.
87. You know that no matter the question or time, it can be answered on a Computer Science forum in minutes
88. You go to the Computer Science labs at 2am on Good Friday and STILL can't find a free computer.
89. You skip lectures and tutorials the entire semester only to find yourself camping in one of the 24hrs computer labs before & during midsems & finals.
90. You realise that the tutor who is assessing you on 'participation' doesn't even know your name.
91. You have been ogled at by the tourists on the uni campus tram tour.
92. You realise that solid gold music is never going to end.
93. Somehow (you don't know exactly how), you've managed to bluff your way through an entire tute without doing one reading.
94. You've used the word 'supertafe' to refer to ECU
95. You've taken overseas visitors to uni just to show them how pretty it is.
96. You've played inter varsity, and WON.
97. You learn the best times and places to see dolphins feeding in the swan river because you spend so much time at Matilda Bay
98. You've attempted (successfully or otherwise) to get into the clock tower.
99. You have wanted to, tried to, or been convicted of killing a peacock for those god damn noises they make, and the suspect way they glare at you when you're eating.
100. It takes you 30 minutes to walk 100m across Oak Lawn, because you keep stopping to chat.
101. You either HATE or LOVE clubba where almost every uni party ends up
102. You refuse to join any association that doesn't abbreviate its name
103. You end up writing deep ontological musings on toilet doors instead of in essays
104. The majority of the cars in the car park are worth 30-100 grand.. with p-plates attached
105. You continually run into first year psych students looking up a tree...
106. You wonder when those 26 year olds are ever going to leave uni and get a real job....
107. The arts common room stinks of weed at midday
108. You admire the truth of the graffiti in the arts department guys toilets - "place hands here for arts degree" (under the hand-dryer)
109. You know that Liquor Barons Dalkeith has the cheapest goon in the Western suburbs
110. You carefully avoid walking between Arts and the Reid library and near the Oak Lawn at the end of September for fear of getting harassed by candidates for the guild elections.
111. You tell the candidates "I've already voted" even though you never will.
112. You find yourself trying to explain what stressed is to your friend who’s doing a part time teaching course at ECU.
113. You can't just say you go to uni, you have to add that you're at UWA.... And expect a gasp of admiration every time.

*I can't believe, that i'm 19! 1 more year to hit the big twenty. Gosh, teenage years fly by so quickly ><*

Below will be a little view of how my 19th birthday passed by :D:D First of all, being away from home means that it's unavoidable to spend another birthday away from home. That's a +2 for birthdays away from home ><

Other than that, it'd been such a splendid birthday with friends from homestay, uni, college and church =3 I have really awesome friends!

The wishes and loves started from the 14th, at Disciple class, where Wen, Joyce, Cindy and Aaron baked cakes until 4am in the morning,

At a blink, it was the 17th, the day!

Uni started as usual, normal classes here and there, then we had a little gathering at the Ref (something like school canteen) with all the IMC-ers. Shockingly, there was...

Cindy, Joyce and Liz! My mind is still in shock of the fact of seeing them in uni *happyface* I have super duper awesome friends :P

and there were the great crew from UWA. Cheng Loon, Melly, Kimmy, Winsome, Wen, Wen's friends. Really sorry to ed, alvin, jon, and johnny for selecting a time that crashes with your lectures. Nevertheless, wishes were definitely felt =D

One of the very special birthday presents i got was a ride home from uni by Andrew. It felt really good to not have to take the bus -train-bus back home for once. Thx so much Andrew!

好久不见

大家好吗? 用华文打blog真的很不一样. 最近我在澳洲, 已经近一个月了. 每一次回来的感觉都不同, 但有一样不变, 那就是还是很想家.

现在我在University of Western Australia读law和commerce, 是我去年来的梦想, 也华了很多的时间+精神努力来的, 当然, 少不了神厚厚的恩典. 读完了后希望可以做个堂堂正正的律师呀 =)

如果说foundation或year12不好读, 那么law和commerce就更不容易读了. 这是因为我对任何一项的科目都不收悉, 却必须在短时间内和那些在yr11,12上过的人们赶上程度. 加上自己的语文有限, 脑子也很必须重新适应完全不一样的教学材料和方式, 所以必须比人家花更多的精神和努力. 虽然如此, 我却不觉得这是一个负担, 因为这是去年努力争取来的, 所以还把它当成宝. 别说读law, 很多比我条件更好的人想进大学都很困难. 这一点点的困难会使我更努力挑战自己更加进步的 =3

对了, 现在在homestay里, 是教会的契友. Aunty和Uncle都很友善, 家人也都很好相处. 但是自己在很多事情上不好意识, 毕竟不是自己的家, 不能像在家里那么的自由, 也要保持好自己的仪态, 也不要个给太多人添太多的麻烦.

我们的家里住着9个人, 有Aunty, Uncle还有他们的4个孩子, 加上我们3个homestay的小孩子. 基本上, 我们都很和平, 有时是觉得有点愧疚, 因为我们, Aunty Uncle的家里必须多了三个外人. 只是自己的感觉吧, 他们都常常提醒我们要把这里当成自己的家式的... 想起去年在Vickery House疯疯癫癫的日子, 真的有天壤之别呀. 满怀念自己可以买一大桶的橙汁一大口一大口的喝, 还有爽不爽就走来走去, 买零食宅在家里看戏. 这里也很好, 的却没有规则, Aunty Uncle 也随便, 但自己就不好意识吧...

今天比平时想家多点点. 看见人家的父母疼爱孩子, 听见人家的父母心酸自己的儿女瘦了, 难免会想起妈咪, 在家时受到的关怀和爱心. 但这只是现在的感觉吧, 毕竟长大了后总有一天是必须离开家独立生活.

但我很庆幸自己能有神的眷顾和带领, 在这里认识了这么多的朋友, 有个很棒的教会, 有Aunty Kim和牧师如父母般的照顾我们. 有团旗里头的兄弟姐妹. 真的轻松多了.

今晚会在思念里徘徊, 还有把Accounting读好. 希望读者们都能好好珍惜在家里的时光, 因为时光不倒流. Bi要加油了, 期待你来陪我读书的一天 =3=3 大家也都加油了, 希望近期内能听到, 看到大家的成功!!

Week 1 of Uni passed

Hi guys, Ollie here, straight from Perth =D

Okie, uni has started for a week already, after orientation, O-day, long bus rides, train rides, being stuck inside a train and nearly missing out my first lecture, here's pictures to illustrate my first week as a uni student =D

Okay, this is the first view i get every morning when struggling to get out of bed. The sight is super cozy, thus the struggling part.

This was the addressing speach to welcome all the new international students in UWA 2009. This was just a part of our batch, and our i-can't-remember-his-name professor welcoming all of us. Btw, Malaysian FTW in UWA !!

*Statistics showed that > 50% of the international student are from Malaysia*

This is our new business school in UWA. Amazingly facinatingly nice and far from my normal class locations. Has a very techy feeling to it still. Looking forward to study here.

This is the inside of the building. Forgot to take much pictures of the fancy designs inside, but it's really advance and new.

The ASIA temporary tattoo Jon got for O-day. If you haven't know, ASIA stands for [A]sian [S]tudent [I]n [A]ustralia. It's a pretty big group with over 1k+ members within the campus. A good club to join for their discounts at Utopia!

Okie, it actually came unexpectedly. I was expecting the result to be out on the 13th, i checked in the morning the day before, and a big phew cause it wasn't out. I went around, finishing games, loitering around my own house, blah blah blah blah, the usuals.

"... ... ... ..." Says Oliver, as he felt that time nearly stopped along with his heart.

Dad was proud, mommy was happy, Ricky was glad in a cool way, but i knew he was happy. Oh ya, he got good results in his PMR and UEC as well, so it was a double celebration that day.

A few days later, it was my cool shifu from learning how to drive. I'll need to make a special blog post bout that, so i'll save it.

Bling bling, and it's Chinese New Year. More food, celebrating, getting to know all my relatives, wishing each other happy new years, making resolution and filling up our piggy banks xD

I was really happy to get to spend a few days of CNY before i had to come back to Perth. It felt great after missing a year's worth of CNY.

Coming back to Perth feels fresh and nice again, being able to meet everyone, say hi, see how everyone's doing, ask about their holidays, and going out together again.

Now that i'm enrolled into UWA already, it'll be Week O next week and i'll be meeting a lot of new people, hope that i can catch my tongue and know what to say at right times ><

Definitely not dead

Hi, this is Oliver reporting live from Perth. I repeat, and i repeat again, i'm still alive xDxD

Okay, this MIA thingie kinda got out of hand and i got like a three month break, well, most of them were just filled with food, dramas, sleep, and tiring driving lessons. (Will touch on the driving part soon in the future)

There's quite a lot of stuff to brief about my three months, but i'll just try to remember whatever i can remember, so hang on tight for a jam-packed session of my three months holiday from where college finished until uni started a while ago.

Foundation is done!!! I can't emphasize enough how happy i'm with that done! Stressful, tense, but wonderful year it was. Especially during the last few weeks near to the exam and the exam itself. Wasn't quite sure of myself during the exam period, was super blurry going through the final exam, but thank God that it went all well.

- In between, 3 weeks of staying alone in Vickery, with loads of instant noodles, randomly going around alone, and most of my laptop -

On the 5th of December, i was finally back. Leaving Perth was a bit sad and happy, watching the plane leave a land where i had so much great times. Think i had a bit of flashback then, reminiscing all from church, school and also Vickery.

MALAYSIA !! Super duperrrrr happy to meet my family again, a sense of belonging. Took a lot of food, shopping for clothes around with everyone, and trying to spend more time with everyone (which i'm not sure if i did a lot ><) And there was it, the moment i've been thinking, ponderig, worrying, hoping, wishing, stressing, and praying about. My WAUFP result releasing day.

Hi guys, been like super long since i mopped the dust off this blog, stuff something new in it, or even visit it >< The horror of knowing that it's been almost a month since my last post already kills the mood of blogging again x.x

Indeed, it's been a while. Rather a lot has happened through this period, so much fun stuff that i should be blogging, but slacked >< Erm, beach. shopping, KL, shopping and more shopping !!

Oh well, i might slack another 2 more month before leaving back for Perth next feb, so i'll write some facts to conclude my whole year's life in Perth =P=P

1) This has been lingering in my mind *shocking*, but we all counted, and Edward and i have like taken atleast >4 boxes of instant noodles throughout the year (reminded me of a special post i should make for Edward)

2) I've cooked, washed plates, mop the floor, vacuum, wipe my room, do laundries, buy groceries, take buses and trains, go to the ATM and banks.

3) I've spent more time on the internet and inside my room than any other year before.

4) I've live (consecutive days) under the hotest (40+ degrees) days and the coldest (1-5 degrees) of my life so far. Winter Rocks !!

5) I've met loads of people from all different places. Just to name a few, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Zambia, etc etc...

6) I've craved to go home more than anytime before.

7) i've weirdly decided to go for law, though i find it quite interesting, and studied like super duper hardcore for it.

8) I realised that i really like Perth and wouldn't mind staying there in the future.

9) I've grown a big big fond of towards Immanuel Methodist Church, just love them heaps, especially Pastor James and Aunty Kim =D

10) I'm going back again next year =) (99.99% already =P)

Okie, think i'll have to stop here >< 10's a perfect number xD Will add on if i get any, and update when i remember that this blog exists xD tata everyone, take good care of yourselves, and happy holidays everyone =)

Oh well, time flies, comes and goes. College ended sometime ago, and a few of my friends left back for home already. Yea, indeed, this year was so fast that i barely enjoyed it enough before it left.

Looking back from last year, i wonder what i was doing at this time a year back ago, most probably dying over the dreadful SPM i guess. As time goes, reflecting back on how we've all grown, changed and been mold by time along with the people around us, it brings up a smile in our faces, everyone's moving forward.

Take a good look backwards, have a good small smile and wave, and it's time to look forward, for that's where i'll be heading.

This feels so hard to start off, but i'll just go with the flow as things get in i guess.

Let's say that there was this year, 2008, and this bunch of people who newly came to Perth and didn't have any clue on who, what, where, when, why, how. Somehow all of us gathered around IMC, and there you have the Vickeries.

This is how it started :

I still thank God every time i daze, or remember about the day we all met. It wasn't by random, never is, and never was. Once in a while, while digging through or arranging photos, finding a photo of us seems regular and so normal, but now it means so much more than i can bring about with words.

I probably would have ended up as an emo kid stuck inside my room each day if it wasn't for each and everyone of them, but thanks guys, for making this year a memorable one. The times we all took the bus around, studied in school, time spent on the fields watching the stars and talking our hearts out, times we've all craved and had in Hungry Jacks, times we've run around getting lost sometimes, or just the times we had each other around.

Home away from home sounds very weird, but it was what i found here, having all of you as a part of our family, it couldn't have been any more perfect than the way it was. Though time flies, and we'll be heading in our own uni ways very soon, do remember this year, a special year spent together.

This will be a photo where we have to stop for a while, not an ending, cause i believe that this is something that will never end.

As memories and all these can fade someday, the reason and meaning behind all never will.

Hi guys, thank God i'm here >"< Exam stress is no joke, plus the WAUFP exam was like x10000000000 times more stressful then my SPM. Might be being away from home, pr taking into my whole life is dependant on whether i can get into uni, and how each paper is like a life-detemining factor to take into consideration, or just once, i have to tackle exams without family support around...

Emotional, or depression, it didn't have much of a border or clear cut of where i was, but it was down right deep and dark.

Mornings didn't seem new and welcoming, but rather repeatful miserables.
Nights didn't feel peaceful and calming, but rather when the mind runs amok.
Foods are tasteless, and it seemed as if i was eating merely to survive.
Sleep couldn't make much sense, with my lying around, merely thinking about stuff.
End of exams didn't sound cheerful, cause it meant i have to start HARD uni life soon.
Every studying moment reminded me of how much i still don't know.
Exams made me felt stupid for once.
Everything seemed like a stranger that had no connection to my life.
and My heart seemed to have a deep dark hole, which couldn't even echo out my cry for help.

Think i've been through this stage a few times before, but non this worst, and still wondering how to not get into it, or immediately get out of it ><>

But thank God.

For the time of riches, to share with those in need,
For the time of poorness, to go through times with them;
For the time of joyfulness, to sprinkle bits of encouragement with everyone,
For the time of sadness, to understand and feel how people do.

Done, signified, and filed. Now that it's all over, time to GO for my most favourite subject to study, Information Systems, here i comeeee ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hi guys, day 2 of exam period and i know i should be studying and all that, but this is a one time thing that i think i should post up, so that i can study in peace.

Title : Permanent Consistency

Yes, you read it right, that's what i felt like writing now, due to personal experience last night here, i guess i need a lesson of it too right now.

Have you ever realise that you can start something off really really well, but in the end they just end up jumbled while you just hope that everything ends up quickly?

You aren't alone xD I feel that a lot too, and i think i know why

*Based on my case*

When i get something working, i make sure i GET IT WORKING, as in putting in 100% effort into it, when i start, i ensure that i do all in all that i can get or reach, and therefore it often ends up as a good start.

As i work on, little by little, the effort feel tiring and wearing if i *think* i'm not getting enough of it, and therefore i'll chip off the effort, one small piece by another, and in the end, i'll just end up with something below my own expectancy, sad, depress and therefore hope that it all gets away.

Yup, mom was right when she mentioned that i usually start off stuff great, but usually make up a mess that she'll have to clear for me >< It took a while to realise that for myself @@

People often mention that, a good start is nearly half a success, but they never mentioned, *provided you keep it all up* It's not about how fast you start at the starting line, but how you keep your speed and cross the finishing line, proudly.

I thought of this very weird example, but i'm just gonna put it down =P

There was this time when Edward and Kelvin were classmates in school, they often make noise around and run around amok disturbing the peace in class. One day, the teacher was having a bad day, and was officially pissed off by their usual act. *Taadaa.....* There goes punishment for Edward and Kelvin.

Both of them were sent outside of the class. The teacher gave them both a pencil, and it wasn't for writing. They were required to have a competition, to see who can lift the pencil for a longer time period, the person who lost would be required to stand outside of class for the whole day.

Right after the teacher finished his sentence, Edward quickly raised the pencil with both his hand, up sky high, as high as he could've stretch. Kelvin on the other hand, merely lift the pencil from this elbow upwards and barely reached his shoulder. The teacher patted Edward's head for the good starting effort, smiled, and then went back to class.

3 minutes....

5 minutes....

5 minutes and 30 seconds...

Without a second look, the teacher asked Kelvin to come in, Edward was completely defeated. Kelvin even came in smiling, without much of being tired even.

- End of story -

Lesson of story : Never ever do something you can't keep yourself doing on, and, never try to be teacher's pet unless you can keep it up too xD (teachers always know well)

I'll try my best too to remember this lesson, something which i still lack so much in learning. Nevertheless, i'm gonna start, and the only way to keep it going for long is to keep a light heart at all time, no stress, and smile =3

Thought of a lot of elaborations just now and etc, but i can't remember, but maybe that'll serve as some food for thought for the moment for everyone =)

Okie then, i'll be going to keep up my normal studying time, all the best everyone in your finals, and as Marshy and Kimmy always reminds me, smile heaps =D=D

Yup, i think i'm having the Pre-Graduate Symptoms (self-declared PGS), where you seem to stand in the middle of time, looking forward at what's going to happen, and what has happen, and be still in the midst of them.

The Past lies behind me, pushing me ahead to what i need to attend,
The Future lies ahead of me, pulling me away from my past wrongs and dones.

The Future Ahead, does seem really ahead and real.

It's weird how i hesitated to press the "new post" button and get something into this almost dead blog today >"<

Sorry guys, been on self-declared hiatus for sometime around this blogging thing, took a super slack time out of my life and then came back to my mocks. Never knew that mocks can be so demanding too ><

Today marks the finishing of my second subject, and thank God that till now everything has went well and i don't have to painfully look back once in a while and gasp that i haven't done something better. You've done your best, and according to the parents' guide book, that's what only matters.

It's already the 15/10/2008 (remembered Kelly mentioning it this morning before test), and i'm less than a month from finishing college, which is a good thing to look forward to. Somehow we all looked back at our orientation this afternoon at lunch, at how everyone didn't sort of know each other, until now that we're all well-established in Perth, with friends, and futures ahead here.

It has been wonderful here in Perth, knowing people, living a new life on my own, learning new stuffs, gaining new experiences, living a dream of mine, and seeing how big the world can actually be. Never regretted much here, maybe the slack and not studying hard enough part, but others are definitely perfect the way they were.

Vickery House is awesome, the most random, funnest, shocking, lol, funny things happen here, especially when everyone is in super stress, or super holiday mode. xD But yeah, living with everyone had it sweet, sour, bitter and hot times, and everyone one of them will remain as pieces of my big Perth-Jigsaw puzzle memory.

Canning College, place to study, have fun and best of all, meet people. Even though i didn't quite intend to meet anyone in Perth, since the whole objective of coming here is to study, i did meet a lot of people. Loads of lovables from my ELACS, Chemistry, Calculus, Applicable Maths and Information Systems class. I would have died our of boredom long ago if it wasn't them here. Lecturers here are cute too, in their own ways, and i especially remember Lyn and Julia, never failing to keep me awake =P

IMC must get a post here. Ah, IMC, sweet memories that gets me toothaches at night. IMC sounded different when i first heard of it before i came. Mainly because i was from a rather big church back home and IMC seemed small >< *sorry sorry* BUT, i <3 ya IMC. At first i was almost gonna go into the chinese side, but now i'm right in the middle, getting the best of both worlds. Special thanks to Pastor and Aunty Kim, for loving us international students just like your children, and just a really big big thank you. My lovely brothers and sisters from IMC just couldn't escape xD !! Actually i'm sorta blank in what to write cause there is just so much to start with, but i'll try someday to write something bout everyone =P

Okie, i guess this should be it, mocks are stuffing up the pipes in my brain, and they're constantly reminding me that i should get back to studying >< Till next time, take care everyone and God bless :3:3

The almost-to-be 100th post

Somehow this was almost my 100th post even though i haven't actually posted so much posts in the past 9 months. There were drafts, and accidental saves, and a few special posts that were somehow buried here without me even remembering them. But yea, this is my 93rd post so i'm just going to say something to make a milestone after blogging for so long =P

*Thanks for everyone that is reading my blog still, really keeps me blogging at times because of a "how are you", "thanks", and even the reader thingie beside my blog adding up day by day*

The specialness of human nature

Humans are somehow one of those most special creations of God that seems to just make no sense at times.

We often say "yes" when our brains says so while our hearts don't,
We often do things we want to do but not the things we need to do,
We push, when the sign says pull,
We break things that we know are fragile,
We sometimes say or write things we don't fully mean,
We always have three fingers pointing back at us,
We always try to get things we don't have but forget about the things we have,
We can easily notice a small dot on a big white piece of paper,
We ask more than we give,

We seriously aren't perfect, but it doesn't mean that we should stop trying. Each and everyday, the sun still shines even though he knows that it'll just get dark again. Spiders still continue their never-ending spirit of building their webs, animals still roam the land even thought they know that everything will fade one day. If they aren't stopping, why should we? Plus, God loves us so much that He gave His one and only son for us. That, is a big enough reason =)

So much to say, but so little words to use.

Thank you for the day Lord, for another breath, another spectrum of light, for every sip of air, for every droplet of water, and every small crumble of Grace, Hope, and blessing in my life.

Thank you mom and dad, for working and saving so hard to send me over to this wonderful place to study, for loving the unlovable parts of me, for bringing my into this world, for showing me how great love is, for raising and teaching me, for crying when you had to whip me, for always not finishing you food and leaving the rest for me, for giving me stuffs that you guys know are the best, for never having me lift a finger at home, for giving me my dearest brother, for being the best parents i could ever wanted, and lastly, for being the most important part of my earthly life.

Thank you brother, for just being my dearest brother, my personal adviser back home, my playmate, my friend, and never saying "i love you" but still mean it.

Thank you my family, for sharing the same blood and loving me more than just because of that.

Thank you my friends, for showing me how different people are, how the world has so much to see and try, for crying, eating, playing, studying and doing stuff for me. Though we seldom meet at times, thanks for the lessons you've taught me, and the memories that i'll bring on in life.

Thanks to all the not so good stuffs that have happened in my life. You taught me to fear, and it's from fear that everyone learned to grow stronger and be a better person each and everyday.

Canning College School Ball 2008

Just in case some random guys from Russia came and read my blog and didn't have any clue on what had happen to my life in the past 4 hours. Today, was my school's first annual school ball. Yes, first, we, dance floor *mind me, in love with the dance floor*.

It turned out much more than i would have ever expected, except the romantic dances under the moonlight, okay, that wasn't much practically. Thank you DJ, for the nice pop songs, that gave everyone somewhat a night to remember. Thank you everyone for dressing so ever nicely and making the night a success. Thank you Canning College, for creating such a chance for us to mingle around with people. Thank you Jervynna (hope i don't spell this wrong), for being a personal FA. Thank you mom for giving me money to go to the ball and getting me nice clothes to go to. Thank God for the nice weather too. Last but not least, thank you friends, for giving me these priceless memories.

Okay, enough with the thanks speech. Now, let's follow the night with pictures =3 No blog post can be complete without pictures xDxD

- This was the decorations for out mini cafeteria into a dance floor. Sorry for the weird lightning, my phone can't take really good pictures within enclosed areas. But see the helium balloons, poker cards around, small dance floor in front, flashy tables with mini stars on them. All for our James-Bond themed dance of the night.

- Yea, this is the table that we all had. In total there was like 12? Can't much remember. around 90 - 100 people, loads of fun, food, drinks (non-alcoholic), dancing, sweating, camming, laughing, loving, music, dry ice, balloons, and a lot that is stored somewhere in my puny brain >"<

- This is liz, and yea, you might guess that i'm really fortunate to live near such a beautiful girl. But.......... Yeah, i'm fortunate to have met such a nice friend in Perth xD

- This is Joanna, really nice-to-be-with girl too. Really fun when active and provides loads of laughter around. =P

- Jonathan, my own hommie in Vickery House. Close buddies in Perth, been through a lot here, and still going on really good xD

- This is my chemistry-buddy-gone-into-my-life. We sorta started out friends since sitting back in chemistry class. Without him, i would have practically died in chemistry >< too =")

- This is kar kiat. Humerous, fun, really really well organized person, leader-like, and a good friend to be around with. =3

- This is wen hui. I think we've met in my old high school before i switched to my new high school. +1 for Miri people x)
- Our four lovables are here. From left, Joyce, Kelly, Liz and Sam. Thanks for the encouragement (Joyce), Fun (Kelly), Special foods (Liz), and fun again (Sam) throughout the year. Really appreciated what you all left inside this year.

- I think this is called camwhoring? Ok, i'm been taking a few pics, cause they are really fun to play with the camera and wonder what angle will produce what. The blurry one is Tim, my Hong Kong friend that always wants to chop people with a knife, sings beautifully, and spices up things in Vickery (jk about the chop people thingie ><) And on my right is Edward. He doesn't usually smile so naturally. Been a hommie for as long as i've been here too. If you want to know him more, visit more often, i might even make a dedicated post for him xDxD

- Lastly, this is me. A young boy that is here to pursue my dreams. Growing through stories to be told to my grandchildren. Embracing each and everyday with a greatful heart, innocent and naive still, but still loving life as it is =3=3

I thought today was a simple dance night, but it seemed more of a milestone in my life. More like a finishing touch towards my ending college year. In about a few more months time, i'm about to embark on a new journey in life, my actual dream of being a lawyer, reaching a nearer stage of being a man, much much more to see and experience once again.

One day i might have already forgotten about tonight, this year and everyone, and even though the ball ended just as fast as our college year has been, i believe one day that we'll all meet again, the same people, the same dance floor, the same hearts.

很久很久以前, 就从我有记忆以来, 爸妈都很注重我与人们沟通上的礼仪及礼貌. 不论何时何地, 都必须要以至高的礼貌待人. 原本觉得这一切都很客套, 但现在明白爸妈都很有远见, 为了我准备好一件的礼物, 我的私人面具.

事先申明, 礼仪和礼貌并不时时都是面具, 但在必要时, 它却能是你最佳的面具, 能顺利的带你演完一部的戏.

在有需要的情况下,

当你看到自己不想见的, 做了自己负担不起的事, 或则是无意间伤到了任何的人, 这面具可以是最直接的保护, 免了你受到人家的排挤, 眼光, 和想法. 再怎么糟的情况下都会有台下. 礼仪与礼貌, 就是为了避免大家尴尬.

或许你会觉得带着面具的人都好虚伪, 需要假装的面对人. 但是这个世界是残忍的. 礼貌, 能给出人们大家最想见到的一面, 也能掩护了不想让人看到的泪滴与欢笑.

抱歉了, 如果你觉得我一直以来以礼待人是因为这样. 不瞒你说, 我有尽力了, 尽力试着打从心底发出关怀与爱心, 以至高的尊敬和珍惜来对待身边的朋友 (家人免谈, 他们早已得到这一切了). 当颗小小的心无法在容纳他与你时, 我能做到最好的, 就是对着你, 礼貌的微笑了.

Risen from the dead is me, which the dead refers to my bed. To put it short, i just woke up again after sleeping somehow.

This is going to be my last post for quite some time, back to life with so much to study, arrange, life for and enjoy. With that part settled and finished off already, Law is back as my number one target now, in You-dubb as well. Hmm, sounds hard? Nah, another 100% for 2-3 months will solve the problem xD

Thank you all, for those that had to bare with my emotion swings, Angel for nagging AND LISTENING, to me, Liz for studying IS with me *let's do it sometimes again*, brother Bing, for always being there, Kelvin, for noticing how much i needed a hug once in a while, Cindy, for patiently listening to my story always as well as sharing so much with me. Sam, for shining up everyone's life, Joyce, for hanging in always =P, and then the rest of the people in my life, I'd need a whole night to list them out, but thanks guys, for being in my life, wouldn't have it any other way.

Okay, i am going to get a good rest tonight, after 2 agonizing week, it's time to suck it all up, and continue the choo-choo train to UWA. Cya guys right at the end. It's a must.

其实现在并不是最佳的时间写到这样的事, 因为自己还蛮蒙蒙咚咚的, 但是就回应下你吧朋友, 用下自己以前写过的东东.

在世上的每个人都是独特的, 也绝非找不到一个能100%和你一样的人. 有时仅为了这些差距, 人们之间有了摩擦. 彼此的摩擦是很痛, 但是却能磨练出更好的你. 相对的, 过分的摩擦, 会让两人之间什么都不剩下的. 也就是因为这样我们才需要智慧懂得与人相处. 或许有些人的人缘好, 但我相信这会是大家一辈子的功课来的. 既然如此, 就应该以颗快乐的心去努力, 这样才会长久.

曾经写过的东西, 始终是忘不了, 却在平凡的生活当中没有把它实行出来. 来到这里发现自己真的还要学习接受自己所明白的事情, 而非选择性的选择自己所想要知道的.

感情很奇妙, 有那么多需要我们去学, 去包容, 去明白, 去体会. 有读过书, 听听人家的故事，有看过人家的爱情起伏. 的确丰富了我, 但现在它们都只成了纸上谈兵. 真正感情的学习在于自己去经历这些事情, 从一次又一次的跌倒当中学习爬起来, 更加小心与细心, 一直到你走到家为止.

也不知道还有什么好写的, 自己有点blur的时候会说自己都不是很明白的东西 (我最喜欢的借口), 等我有这样的感觉后再写写吧, 感觉蛮棒的 =3=3

Warning on reading my blog

Recently this has been my dump spot for what i need so say cause imma just getting lazy to talk xD But i guess the case is, i assume i need a rest, rather than running into the cannon before wearing my helmet and get fired out into the cold world =P Okay, officially sounds weird. But if it's time to rest, one will really need to rest before continuing on, don't feel the need to rush everything, things will come if they are meant to while we work the best we can in our own parts.

Went to the faith in action talk today by Reverent Dr. T, was great, nothing but great. I stumbled inside my mind bout a phrase that i've heard before, i'll try to quote it, but i'm nt sure whether it's the same:

"Our God is sometimes like light.
You can't see light, but without it, you can't see anything.
I can't see God, but through Him, i see everything else."

No blog post is complete without pictures !!!!!!! *hang in, cause it's going to be an airplane of pictures coming ur way xD*

- This is the front of my school, somehow my underlying conscious took this photo without me much realizing it until a few days ago, but it looks good, so much better than what i have to face in the classes ><

- There has been an abundant of cakes in this week too, with the first one being from care group and the second one made by all of the vickeries for Cindy's burfday. They might look different, but i ensure you that they're all 100% love =P

- Spring is just around the corner recently, with all the flowers blooming, the sun up, and the part which doesn't appeal much, the weather getting hot again =x=

- Oh ya, if you can't imagine what it is being up stage looking down at a lot of people, this would be the image =P

- Somehow taking pictures of myself doesn't feel like a taboo anymore

Posting here now feels kinda random, cause there isn't much happening in my life that has such a significant effect to make me post something so late, maybe my wreaking english essay which i shall not mention here today and try to let it pass, or just plain more about how i've been recently.

Redefining the term of "being okay" is needed now. I remembered aunty kim mentioning before about being in the middle of the warm glaciers and the ice cold water. Yes, that's where i'm now, nowhere near any part of it. It feels like being sitted around and waiting for something to happen while life just takes it's own pace in moving forward while you lie in it's shadow of yesterday. Funny isn't it?

I've been happy, sad, angry once in a while, depressed, sorrow and pain, but nothing feels like what i'm being right now, being in the middle, emotionless. I sorta need to clarify something here. I'm not going EMO =x=

Definition of Emo (gave it a though today):
People who let their overwhelming emotions take over themselves into cases which they themselves are just too tired to change any of that and let emotions roam through themselves like hungry lions.

Definition of Emotional (gave it more though today):
People who are filled with emotions towards the cold cruel world, even though they do have rather more reacting hormones towards stuffs than others, it doesn't mean that they don't go on with life and live life to the fullest?

Okay, mayb i'm just being emo. But being in this situation has gotta stop, otherwise i'll turn into emo zombies, sucked up into the vortex of endless-repeating sad songs, hiding in the dark corner licking my wounds, and painting my room dark. Okay, i'm sure that's all not going to happen, cause i don't want it to happen.

Back to point, it's been a long week today, with ups and downs and etc, but i'm glad it's through, and i hope i've learned something out of it, otherwise it's just going to reappear.

Cheerful music, slightly not-that-repetative food, the sun, a little talk with long-lost friends, a little hug and warm warm milk should do the job. Sounds like a little child needing love? I might just am being one.

想着以前自己迷恋着杰伦的"开不了口”，因他总能表达自己无法说得一切. 然而也因此我曾经错过了眼前的许多事物. 或许不是我的东东, 也不会有任何的错过吧.

虽然自己很希望现在会有什么发生, 但是现在绝对不是任何事情发生的时间. 面对着自己的期考与大考的来临, 除了抓住机会, 也需要尽了自己的全力去把握它. 为了你, 你们, 大家. 如果不好好考, 那一切的诺言也只能建在言语上. 行动, 才会让你有安全感.

原本自己又很感性的想说希望能保护你etc etc, 但是, 还是现在好好的去读书, 进到了law, 才有能力完成你我的梦想.

It might be a little late for me, but i realised, thanks to bing, that life is a continous on-going thing. Things in life have to move on. Changed will come and will happen. Even though there are a lot of things which i hope to freeze in time, it'll still go along with time. I can't change what's going to happen, but i can cherish whatever i still have now, and keep the memories with me, wherever i go.

I know it's late and etc, but this post must go on !!! *Serious important part of my life* Okie, i doubt that i'll look anything like that again in the near future, unless there are a few more hip-hop themed parties to go xD *Thanks bing, edward for posing with me*d Last friday was our Sister's Night 2008 for IMC, was way cool, never had a cooler party than that. But somehow i think the sisters enjoyed it more than i did, but i did really enjoy ya =P Everyone had a superb time and i wouldn't have missed it even for the olympic openings (which i did miss) xDxD

Less talking, more pictures :
- Mafia brothers ready to go, maybe one, one is just being an ah-beng *angel ring lights up*
- Hip hop buddies in church, starting with liz and definitely not ending with Mel.
- Trust me, anyone would know we were acting =P=P But still, it felt more than friendship, a closer friendship =3
- I don't know what i'd do without you all !!!! *hugs*

- The next day, Joyce and i went to watch the basketball match between the 3 methodist churches. Congrats still on winning all 3 places in the mix match, super proud of IMC ^^ Especially Esther, Mel, Sam, Jess and Kim, who really showed them that girls can also play basketball!! Had a terrific day with everyone that day.
- Then that night *of my fun filled weekend*, we had a bbq at Vickery House. It's been so long after Joyce's burfday that we didn't have a bbq already. But still i super loved and enjoyed it. Thank Kwang Kiat for inviting me along ya =3=3 And everyone there that day that made the day so much more memorable. ^^
- The next day (here he goes again), after church, we went to UWA's expo / open day in the city. It was quite late when we reached, but we still managed to grab a glance at our so lovable probably-university-to-be for a few of us. Besides the not so well establish law facilities (and creepy looking), the rest was fine. Everyone had a great view on what to be, to expect and to strive for in the rest half of the year for our interested courses, sspecially our super-addicted-to-architecture friend which i think her name is Liz.

- Random picture i took at Karawara about doggies on discount that is. The price might be on discount, but not the cuteness and lovability of them =3=3
And with that, i'll end my post bout these few days, kinda short, but in short of time to rush for preparation for my mock exams soon. Cya all soon, and ally at the end of the bridge =P=P

今天应该是回到perth的第四个礼拜了. 才发现到最近的时间都过得很快, 随便读读书, 收拾收拾家里后就过了一天. 妈咪以前都经常说到每个人都有自己做不完的事, 只是你是否自己愿意去做完它. 现在就有这样的感觉.

四个礼拜内其实也发生了蛮多的事情. 比如收到了东澳大学的通知信, 经历了自己给自己的苹果磨练, 开始尽力去读书, 也理清了自己许多繁杂的感情. 回来这里后也知道了perth永远都会是我生命中一份抹不掉, 美好的回忆.

近来自己也尽量都好好用了自己的时间, 希望明天的记忆不会留空. 但这飞快地速度是到我的时间已经不在我的手掌中了. 六个礼拜后就会到了学校的第二学期大考了, 最近要好好注意报名大学, 更需要注意自己的成绩. 一定要做的事情也蛮多的 =P=P

听到我说要好好读书应该有点惊人吧. 似乎自己在中学的生涯里头都没有这样读书的劲. 来的这么突然的感觉, 原本以为只是自己幼稚的冲动, 但现在自己都开始跟上梦想的脚步, 一步一步慢慢的往前看, 往前行. 为了自己现在和将来的家庭, 为了能继续完成自己的梦想, 为了能留在perth, 为了能继续跟大家一起生活, 更重要, 为了神给我潜在的目的.

未来不远了. 现在做的一切可能都比以前难, 比以前辛苦, 但这好像不是问题了. 只在乎现在做的, 是否都值得呢?
